dear sir.

we might not have been the best of students, lacking severely in focus and discipline. still, its been a wonderful time under you, despite the fact that we dont seem to show it. your leniency and grace we so often ignore, taking it for granted that we are placed under the care of such.

even so, i know i speak for more than myself when i say we are thankful for you. the captivating discussions, the simple expressing of opinions, the extending of help.

one thing youve shown me, be it consciously or by mere chance. that school is not just about the grades or discussion. its about the upbringing, the interactions, the experiential learning. though it is never our right to neglect our grades and studies, theres no harm in the lighter side of life. learning to understand people, not just figures and scribbles on crumpled sheets of paper.

for that, i bid a solemn farewell
