study dammit.

this holiday has been so wonderful great and packed with non-school things that i have totally forgotten school life. which is good and bad, because its felt like a real holiday. which WOULD be wonderful were i not in year 5, with midyears starting in exactly 1 week. for which, i must add, i am utterly unprepared for. and even to try reaching into my memory for what i have learnt over the last term, is an impossible feat.

and as if it was marking my journey to fantasyland and back, i have finished the last book of the maximum ride series. and just like my holidays, it ended with a moralistic anticlimax. not that its bad, it sure packed a punch. but its as though its crying out to me. hey! enough with your wonderful flying kids and science fiction, lets face some REAL problems. like, lets say, GLOBAL WARMING! or maybe, just maybe, your impending midyears, harbringers of doom. oh yes, that.
