its really interesting how we’ve been taught to view everything as a confluence of structural and underlying factors, resulting in a buildup of tension until a crisis moment comes along and blows the illusion to small shiny bits. and somehow this framework works for anything in life. admittedly, it’s kind of common sensical if one were to look at it closely, but still, its effective. if we dont solve the problems now, today, its difficult to sweep them under when the moment comes.

strangely im actually looking forward to prelims. after the limited amount of studying that ive done for this exams, studying doesnt look so daunting any more. in fact, and it appalls me that i am even thinking this, but it might actually be fun. once we’ve gotten rid of ioc and foa, we’ll be free. and then the fun begins.
